Showing some love to her SoCal fans, Willow Shields
showed up at Wal Mart in Orange, California for the big release of “The
Hunger Games: Catching Fire” on Thursday night (March 6).
The 13-year-old actress was all smiles as she signed autographs and posed for pictures during the big event, as loyal followers lined up to buy the Blu-Ray combo pack of the hit flick.
Willow recently gushed about working with Jennifer Lawrence and the
relationship of their characters- “My favorite thing is that we really
realize that bond from the beginning. The whole reason Katniss goes into
The Hunger Games is to save her sister. I think it’s such a strong bond
from the beginning and travels on throughout the whole series. There’s a
sort of role reversal where Prim is really there for Katniss, but they
always have that strong bond throughout the whole series.”
And in real life, J Law is always looking out for her- “She’s given me advice about being who I am about being who I am and not changing because of Hollywood. That’s good advice and I’m definitely going to remember that. She hasn’t changed at all and that’s great. She’s such a fun person to work with.”
