This year, the Met Gala celebrates legendary American couturier Charles James, who has a whole exhibit called “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” to pay tribute to his vast contributions over the years.
One of fashion’s top names Zac Posen sang Mr. James’ praises in a recent interview- "James' balance of structure, glamour and technique...he was a scientist as well as an emotional artist, and the pieces are elegant, glamorous and erotic. I have had a sneak peek of the exhibit, and it looks spectacular.”
