Katy Perry Plugs ‘Make Roar Happen’ Campaign

Though she’s likely financially set for life, Katy Perry still regrets not getting enough out of her education during her childhood.While promoting her classroom initiative “Make Roar Happen,” the “I Kissed a Girl” songstress recounted the unusual way she did school as a kid.

"I was being pulled out of school even in the middle of school and sometimes being homeschooled. Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don't-know-what-they-were schools."

She continued, "I'm kind of bummed at this stage that I didn't have a great education because I could really use that these days. I've learned to educate myself at this stage and how to continue my education at any age. I'm going on 30 and I'm still very thirsty for information. On tour, we go to different museums and get to soak up all kinds of different cultural experiences."
